Two-Factor Authentication

Every sign-in requires your password plus a 6-digit code emailed to you. You'll also get a one-time recovery code as a backup (for if email is ever unreachable) — store it somewhere safe.

Passkeys — Face ID & Windows Hello

A passkey lets a device sign in with its own biometrics or PIN — no password, no emailed code. Enrol each device you use (phone, PC). Email codes and your recovery code stay available as the backup for new or lost devices.

Submittal Templates

Pre-written subject & description that populate the New Submittal modal. A signature is added automatically when the submittal is sent — don't include one here.

Outreach Email Templates

The cold-outreach email bodies used by Run Drafts, per industry sector (with A/B variants), plus the Follow-up reminders sent when a prospect doesn't reply. On the first email the AI adds a personalised opening line above the sector text, so keep your sign-off/signature in the template but no greeting line. Follow-ups are sent as-is (full text incl. signature). Edits override the built-in default and are saved to your account — deploys won't wipe them.

Review Email

The copy Review Automation sends. Placeholders: {name} {project} {link}. Auto-sent mail doesn't attach your Gmail signature, so keep a short sign-off in the copy. Leave blank to use the built-in default.

What we pay — shared across both brands

Rates used to auto-price purchase orders from nest summaries. Edit once — applies to Blueprint to Build and clikt. Machining and materials both price per m² (offcuts price by area; standard sheets land on their exact sheet price). Tick JBD on boards Joinery By Design supplies — those get Material + Machining; the rest default to Machining-only.

Users & Access

Manage who can access the system. Admin — full access. Site — site measures, timesheets, documents, QA only. No pricing or financial data.

Review Automation

Auto-sends a brand-toned review request (your Google review link + a photo ask) about a week after a job's final fulfilment step is ticked — once per job. Off by default. Turning it on only affects jobs completed from that moment on; it never emails past customers.

Nudges are worked out live from each job's real state — nothing is stored, so they clear themselves the moment the underlying thing is done. Tune when each rule speaks up (days), switch one off, or exclude a project type. Dismissing the same nudge 3+ times on one project type will offer to switch it off there for you.

Project Actions ⓘ

The step-by-step checklist every job gets, per project type. Rename, reorder (drag ≡), add or remove steps, and give any step its own checklist (the "have you done this?" prompts). Changes apply to newly seeded phases — steps already on a job aren't rewritten.

Schedule — stage durations ⓘ

The default project timeline issued with a quote, in working days per stage, for each project type. Day 0 is quote acceptance / deposit payment. Adjust per job at quote or creation time — these are just the starting numbers.

Schedule — shop capacity

How many jobs can sit in each stage at the same time. The Shop load lanes on the Schedule count every job across both brands — it’s one shop — and turn red on any day that needs more than you set here.

Not sure? Each row shows what you’ve actually run side by side over the last year — click “use” to take that number. It’s what the shop has handled, not proof of what it can, so nudge it if you know better. Leave one blank and the load still draws; it just won’t judge it.

Schedule — days the shop is shut

Timelines count working days, so anything listed here is stepped over when a job is scheduled — and shaded on the Schedule. Weekends are already excluded and don’t belong here. This is one list for both brands: it’s one shop with one calendar.

Schedule — calendar feed

A read-only calendar anyone can subscribe to — phone, Outlook, Google — with no Datum login. It carries installs, deliveries and pickups, plus the day each job is due off the floor. No prices, ever.

Anyone with this address can read the schedule, so treat it like a key. “New address” issues a fresh one and instantly stops every old subscription working.

Note Tags — for the current brand

A tag files a captured detail (an email, spec, photo, approval…) under the right note section, and optionally into a Drive folder. When you tag a note the title defaults to the tag name. Add your own any time.

Xero Integration

Connect your Xero organisation to create invoices directly from Jobs. One Xero developer app supports both brands.

Squarespace Orders clikt. only

Automatically imports new orders from your Squarespace store into Clikt as jobs. Scans the Clikt Gmail account every 10 minutes. Each order creates a customer (or matches existing by email), a job, and scope items per product.

Microsoft To-Do

Auto-create To-Do tasks when a new job is created. BTB copies the "000 - New Project Template" list. Clikt adds a task to the "Clikt Projects" list with 3 pre-filled subtasks.

Google Calendar

Authorise Calendar access to create events, invite clients, and schedule site visits directly from job pages. Uses the same Google account as Gmail & Drive — a one-time re-authorisation is needed to add the Calendar scope.

Google Drive

Set the root Drive folder for each brand. Job folders are created inside a matching phase subfolder (Quoting / Active / Archived) and automatically moved when job status changes. Invoice PDFs are auto-uploaded to the 7. Invoicing subfolder.
